Daytona 200 Wall of Champions
You can be a part of it!
Many of you have donated to the Phase 1 part of the project and thanks to you, the Daytona 200 Monument is a reality! It was dedicated March 7, 2002 and again thanks to the donors. During construction of Phase 1of the project, the foundation was laid for Phase 2 and all the landscaping was finished. It is a beautiful site and a must see when in Daytona Beach. It is located at 100 N. Atlantic Ave., beachside of the Daytona Beach Hilton-Ocean Walk Village. The best way to see the monument is to park in the parking garage on the west side of Atlantic Ave. Walk over the new pedestrian bridge on the second floor, keep walking past the shops and restaurants toward the ocean. The monument is on the right.

Now comes Phase 2 of the wonderful project with more ways to donate and become part of this great monument. The following in brief, is a short outline of the things you can do to become a part of the monument.

Engraved Pictured Plaques: 12” square granite plaques are available that will be mounted to the inside of the sitting wall to display your favorite moment forever.

Paver Bricks: Paver bricks, 6000 are available and will be installed in alphabetical order. You can add three lines of text on the bricks.

Wall of Champions: There are three ways to purchase sections of the Wall of Champions. The wall consists of 28, five foot wide by four foot eight inches tall by eight-inch thick granite sections beveled at the top to accept a name.

  1. Four of the 28 sections, next to each entrance of victory circle, are being set aside for individual sponsors or family name. Each section holds 72 names.
  2. The next four are set aside for motorcycle organizations/clubs that can supply a minimum of 50 donating members names per section.
  3. The next twenty sections are available to motorcycle manufactures and possibly motorcycle related companies. These 28 sections make up the 50 ft diameter of “The Wall of Champions”

Granite Pavers: There are 220, two-foot square by two inch thick black granite pavers available around the monument. Two lines of text with 18, 1 ½” high letters and six lines of text with 24, 1” high letters, artwork or hand carving is extra but look good.
